This natural black Tahitian MOP shell bead necklace is crafted with beads made from the shells of the oyster that produces the famous Black South Sea Pearls. The beads are precision-cut into small coin shapes and star-faceted to bring out the characteristic gray-white flashes. Pinpoints of color reveal themselves at certain angles.
I've interspersed these 6.5-mm beads with tiny round sterling silver beads for extra glimmer. The necklace is secured with an 8 mm round sterling silver safety clasp at 18 inches.
This striking necklace can be dressed up or down and is sure to garner attention.
